Where are you located?
The Green Mountain Studio is located in Arvada, CO in the Village of Five Parks neighborhood and easily accessible from Westminster, Golden, Superior, Boulder, Wheat Ridge, Broomfield, Denver, and Thornton. Click here for a map and directions.
I’ve never practiced yoga, how do I get started?
We cater to the needs of every student, especially those who are new to yoga.
Green Mountain Yoga offers an Introduction to Yoga class. This class is a Free 45 minute introductory session on Wednesdays at 5PM and Saturdays at 12:30. Get your questions answered, experience a sampling of yoga and find out what an amazing difference yoga can make in your life.
Private lessons are also a great way to get started. Focused on your specific needs, private lessons offer personal attention, private instruction, and specific therapeutic benefits of injury, illness, stress, and emotional difficulties, and the convenience of lesson times made by appointment.

Should I Start with a Private Lesson?
It’s not necessary, but certainly a great way to get started. How do I know which class is suitable for me?
With so many yoga classes to choose from, you’ll find the right class for the right time in your life. Stick to one or try them all, we offer a variety to match your ability and your mood. What do I bring to class?
If you have your own yoga mat, bring it, along with water and anything else you may need to enjoy the class. Mats and other props are available for your use if you don’t have your own. Make sure to arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the scheduled class. Find a class.
What should I wear to class?
Wear comfortable clothes that are easy to move in.
Do you have mats at the studio that I can use?
Yes. We have mats and other props available for your use if you don’t have your own. We encourage you to have your own mat. We have several styles available for sale in our boutique.
Why should I practice yoga?

How do I become a yoga instructor?
Green Mountain Yoga offers a teacher training program that is open to students who aspire to become yoga instructors. Green Mountain School of Yoga Teacher Training consists of 230 hours over a 3-4 month period designed for real people and to allow space for growth and integration. The days and times are accommodating for the full-time working schedule, incorporating studies one night a week and weekend intensives. The training also includes unlimited classes at Green Mountain Yoga during your training. Upon graduating from the program, you can become a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) through the Yoga Alliance.
