January Care Package Shipment
Thank you for the support you have shown this month for GMY Cares, Green Mountain Yoga’s project of sending our servicemen and women in Iraq and Afghanistan with care packages full of treats from home. For the month of January, we mailed two care packages full of knit hats, playing cards, magazines and toiletries to a Colorado National Guard Unit of fifteen men, stationed in Iraq. Thank you so much, Green Mountain Yoga students and community, for your generous donations!
Should you happen to personally know a member of the armed forces stationed in Iraq or Afghanistan whose unit might enjoy receiving care packages, please contact us with their address. We’d love to specifically support the friends and family members of our community.
