Amy Jones

Amy Jones, LPC, RYT, first discovered yoga 16 years ago, immediately falling in love with the practical and philosophical aspects of yoga. Through the years, while deepening her own practice, Amy began bringing yoga to her clients as an adjunct to traditional psychotherapy. Amy completed the Green Mountain School of Yoga 200+ hour training in November 2008. She believes that yoga is an integral part of maintaining a healthy mind, body, and spirit and loves teaching others how to maintain this balance through the art and science of yoga.

Andrea Thorn, RYT, began her personal yoga and meditation practice in 1993 and completed her yoga certification through Green Mountain School of Yoga in 2007. She is dedicated to creating a supportive and comfortable space that allows the individual to develop and challenge their own personal practice in dynamic ways. She likes to mix it up and seeks to bring creativity, excitement, and enthusiasm to each of her classes. Andrea is also studying Contemplative Psychology with an emphasis on the psychology of health and healing at Naropa University.

Becky Zimmerman

Becky Zimmerman

Becky Zimmerman chose to become a yoga teacher after she recovered from a serious accident that left her with a broken neck and a knee replacement. Yoga helped her recover to a wholeness of body and spirit, which inspired her to share this knowledge with all who need it (isn’t that everyone?). She believes that yoga practice is at its best when it’s lighthearted and fun. Becky has studied yoga under many incredible local and national master teachers and is deeply grateful to all of her teachers and students.

Christine Woodling, MSPT, RYT, has practiced yoga for over 7 years. She completed her yoga certification through Green Mountain School of Yoga and is also a practicing physical therapist with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy. She enjoys various styles of yoga, including hatha and vinyasa and appreciates how yoga ties into daily life, whether it’s breathing techniques, balance, or acts of kindness. She strives to mentor the journey of yoga and the progression of postures by honoring our bodies in a fun and friendly environment.

Emily Jasiak

Emily Jasiak is a certified Hatha Yoga Instructor. She teaches all levels classes and loves to incorporate various forms of yoga in her practice. An inquisitive person by nature, she looks forward to workshops and trainings, eager to learn as much as she can about the practice and teaching of yoga styles and philosophies to share with students. Emily strongly believes in the mind-body connection gained through a physical practice. Her classes bring together a mix of strength, grace, self-appreciation and humor.

Erin Sampson, RYT, RYT, has been practicing yoga since 1998. Aware of the amazing changes in her life due to a regular practice, she decided to share this passion with others through the gift of teaching and obtained her RYT through Green Mountain Yoga's teacher training program. Erin is a stay-at- home mom, experiencing the amazing benefits of yoga as a way to effectively handle the day-to-day stressors of parenting. Erin regularly strives to introduce yoga as a way of life that can make our experience of the world more connected and meaningful.

Jane Sparks

Jane Sparks

Jane Sparks, RYT, fell in love with yoga while practicing prenatal yoga during her two pregnancies. She is a recent grad of the Green Mountain School of Yoga’s 200 hour training program and enjoys teaching many types of yoga including yoga for kids. She encourages her students to laugh and embrace the many benefits of practicing yoga, from strong bodies and stress reduction, to living in each present moment and finding balance in daily life. Jane appreciates the commitment, honor, and respect that students share.

Karen Boeser, E-RYT, is a certified Hatha and Kundalini Yoga Instructor, approved by the KRI International Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training Program, as taught by Yogi Bhajan, PhD Master of Kundalini Yoga. Karen's teaching methods have evolved over a decade of personal practice and training. She has studied with some of the most recognizable names on the yoga scene. She combines this range of experience in offering a well-balanced and comprehensive approach to yoga that is accessible to the newcomer and the experienced practitioner.

Kylie Larson, RYT, began practicing yoga eight years ago in an effort to give her body a break from previous athletic endeavors. Somewhere along the way, she discovered that the mental benefits of practicing yoga far surpassed the physical benefits. She saw a difference in dealing with daily stress and it soon became a passion. She graduated from the Green Mountain School of Yoga’s teacher training program and is a Registered Yoga Teacher. Her teaching style is upbeat and energetic, sprinkled with bits of yoga philosophy.

Marrana Davis

Marrana Davis

Marrana Davis is a certified Kundalini Yoga Instructor, approved by the KRI International Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training Program, as taught by Yogi Bhajan, PhD Master of Kundalini Yoga. She is also a certified Hatha Yoga Instructor with more than a decade of personal practice. She recently obtained her certification in Thai Yoga Massage. Marrana brings a wealth of knowledge to every class.

Melissa Lord was drawn to her first yoga class 7 years ago as a way to compliment running and other athletic pursuits.  Soon after, she discovered many benefits; stress relief, greater flexibility, and calmness of mind. She believes that yoga has something to offer everyone, and that we should challenge ourselves through yoga, whether mentally or physically. Melissa is a Registered Hatha Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance and is excited to share her love of yoga with others, hoping they find the balance and joy she has found within her own practice.

Melissa Youree

Melissa Youree began her practice in hatha yoga in 2005. An eternal student, Melissa strives to keep an enthusiastic learning environment for students of any level. Her classes incorporate both a yin style of holding poses and a vinyasa style of moving with the breath, blending aspects of Ashtanga and Anusara. She simply calls her style, "Fusion with a Purpose". When not practicing yoga, Melissa enjoys backcountry powder or climbing her way up a desert tower.

Michelle L. Shellhaas, PT, DPT, CYT, is trained in Hatha and Integrative styles of yoga, with specific training in prenatal and postpartum. Michelle is a trained physical therapist and owner of Shellhaas Physical Therapy. She has a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education and earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2004. She continues to expand her knowledge of the body through ongoing trainings in both yoga and physical therapy and is the Western Anatomy Trainer for the Green Mountain School of Yoga's Teacher Training Program.

Mindy Arbuckle, an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT) and founder of Green Mountain Yoga, discovered her passion when she began teaching yoga eight years ago. Her love of yoga and desire to share it with as many people as possible lead her to her dream of opening a studio. Mindy teaches a vinyasa (flowing) style of hatha yoga. Mindy teaches everything from beginners to advanced classes. She has also been trained in pre-natal, kids, and seniors yoga. She looks forward to sharing the gift of yoga with everyone she meets.

Olesya Tsurkina, RYT, began practicing yoga a few years ago to gain more flexibility. As time passed, she discovered that yoga helped her daily life in many ways, that’s when she realized that yoga was an experience she wanted to share with others. In November 2007, Olesya graduated from the Green Mountain School of Yoga’s teacher training program and is a Registered Yoga Teacher. She is continuing her training with plans to study in India.

Sara D'Onofrio, RYT, attended her first yoga class while in college and was immediately hooked. She attended various classes throughout Denver, until she finally felt at home at Green Mountain Yoga. There, she graduated from the Green Mountain School of Yoga’s teacher training program as a Registered Yoga Teacher. Sara loves to share her passion of yoga with others, encouraging her students to challenge themselves. She hopes to share this with others, in hopes that when they leave class that their mind and body are restored and rejuvenated.

Shannon Fiedler

Shannon Fiedler, RYT, rediscovered yoga as an outlet for personal growth and insight and as a way to cultivate a healthier mind/body balance. Shannon graduated from the Green Mountain School of Yoga’s teacher training program and is a Registered Yoga Teacher. As she continues her yoga studies, Shannon is eager to incorporate her knowledge and creativity towards discovering a unique and challenging way to share yoga with others.

Tammra Straub

Tammra Straub

Tammra Straub, ERYT-500, began her journey with yoga as a child observing her grandmother's “morning stretches”. Tammra received her first teacher certification in 1994, a senior-level certification in 1998 and a Teacher Trainer certification in 2001. She became one of Colorado’s first RYT’s at the 500-hour level in 2001.  She's been joyfully uniting minds and bodies through classes and workshops since 1993 via her company Mindful Motions. With a varied background in energy and Holistic Health studies, her classes include the fluid movements from Brain Gym, Qi Gong, and subtle energy activations that enliven the soul.

Tracey Lanham

Tracey Lanham

Tracey Lanham, RYT, has been practicing yoga for six years. After studying with Erica Kaufman, the founder of Lila Yoga, she became a certified Lila yoga teacher in 2005. Tracey strives to teach classes that are accessible to all students, focusing on mental clarity and meditation in motion. Her classes explore living in the moment and accessing the joy that is available to us all. While not practicing or teaching yoga, Tracey works as a neurophysiologist assisting surgeons in the operating room.

Wendie Dunn, RYT, attended her first week of Boot Camp at Green Mountain Yoga and knew that yoga was the answer to her exercise needs. Upon finishing Green Mountain School of Yoga’s teacher training program, she saw improvements to her knee and lower back pain and wanted to share her love of yoga with others. Wendie is grateful to have yoga in her life as she enters her 40's as she enjoys all the benefits that come from a consistent yoga practice.
